Hey there, fellow desi yogis! So, picture this: I’m a 33-year-old guy who has never tried yoga in his life. Until now, that is. Let me take you on a journey through my 30-day yoga challenge as I delve into this ancient practice that has been around for over 5,000 years.
But first, let’s go back to the roots of yoga, which originated in our very own country, India. With over 19 different types and 66 basic positions, yoga has been proven to boost both physical and mental well-being. Fast forward to the modern era, and yoga has become a booming $8 billion industry, thanks to influencers and celebrities hopping on board.
My First Encounter with Yoga
So, there I was, a complete newbie, scouring YouTube for a 30-minute beginner routine. I stumbled upon a video by Yoga by Adrian, and the rest is history. My first session was a mix of spirituality, mindfulness, and surprising physical challenges. Despite my initial skepticism, I was hooked.
