4.6 billion years ago, there was nothing but darkness and a cloud full of dust and gas, called the Solar Nebula. This cloud was chillin’ in space until a big explosion, called the Supernova, shook things up. This explosion caused the gas and dust to start collapsing in on itself and spinning around. And voila! The Proto-Planetary Disk was born, kind of like a pancake in space.

In the middle of this disk, a Protostar formed and started the fusion reaction, turning Hydrogen into Helium. And boom! Our Sun was born, shining down on us every day. The leftover gas and dust in the disk started clumping together to form planets, like Earth.

These little clumps started banging into each other, getting bigger and bigger. Eventually, they became planets. Our Earth was born from countless collisions, making it the unique place we call home.

So, how did we get water on Earth? Some comets and asteroids that hit us had water in them. Also, the gases in the Solar Nebula contained ice crystals. These things mixed together to give us our oceans. It’s like a cosmic recipe for life!

The Earth’s layers – crust, mantle, and core – formed over billions of years. The core is the hottest part, generating a magnetic field that protects us. It’s amazing how everything fell into place perfectly for us to be here.
